Information affecting Retirees

Please check this site and the CapWiz link for any news that will affect current and future retirees. We will provide links to news stories that may announce proposed changes to retiree benefits. We encourage all retirees and others to write the chapter at nteu207@nteu207.org to inform us of any emerging issues that the union needs to be aware of. We will make every effort to notify all retired members of NTEU chapter 207 to issues that we become aware of by sending each retiree an email.

We need your email address:

We will notify you by email of any emerging retiree issues. However, we probably do not have your email address so please write to us at the email address above and so that we can stay connected.

CapWiz (See Legislative Link on the Main Page) is also available to retirees to help smooth the process for communicating with your congressional representatives.

Looking for your former co-worker – maybe we can help – register here.

Have you ever looked at www.Classmates.com? Many employees have told us they registered with that company to keep track of their High School classmates. We have also learned that many former and current FDIC workers have registered on that website on the portion that lists workplaces. The site shows that many current and former FDIC employees have discovered that site and are registering. Please note: Chapter 207 is not endorsing this website but responding to suggestions that other retirees may want to utilize that site to contact former co-workers.

Not yet a retiree Member of NTEU?

Why should you join? Retiree members pay a special retiree membership rate each year. The current rate is $35.00 a year. As a benefit of that membership you will have access to the NTEU website, Legislative Information, receive monthly NTEU Newsletter and, hopefully through this website, updates that you need to know about so you can take the appropriate action if necessary.

Contact NTEU at www.NTEU.org to receive a retiree membership form or call them at 202-572-5500. NTEU will process your membership quickly and notify Chapter 207 when you begin your membership.
