Corporate Success Awards/Pay for Performance: (Comments)

Posted March 12, 2005

The CSA program was poorly conceived and implemented. I have never been made aware of how the program works. The program was never communicated to many employees. There is so much head scratching going on that we are all going to go bald.

I was really disappointed when I did not get a Corporate Success Award.
I thought if a Division of Information Technology (DIT) employee had met
one, or even all three, of the qualification factors he or she would be
eligible..........well, I actually met all three qualification factors
and was not considered for the CSA. I truly now believe the selection
process is purely subjective and does not matter if the DIT employee is
qualified. If you are willing to cater to and kiss up to DIT Management
you are more apt to get the award. "Cater to and kiss up" is an
unwritten qualification factor that must be adhered to in the new
Division of Information Technology. My division is DIT at VASQ and I'm
a Grade 14 in the Bargaining unit.
